Help and About

Help ▸ User guide opens this guide.

Help ▸ What’s new lists what changed in the version you are running. In the browser it opens by itself after an update. On the desktop it opens the release page.

Help ▸ Welcome shows what works today, instrument by instrument, three places to start (connect an instrument, open files, or start with a demo) and the trademark disclaimer. With an instrument attached, the first card names it and opens the Keyboard tab. In the browser it opens by itself the first time you run drawbar there. What is supported covers the same claims in more detail.

Help ▸ Report a problem and Help ▸ Send feedback open a form that sends what you write straight to drawbar’s developer. You choose what to attach, and the form shows exactly what will be sent. Leave an email address if you would like a reply.

In the browser, Help ▸ Share anonymous usage is checked while drawbar sends anonymous counts of visits, errors and instrument operations. Uncheck it to stop them. The desktop app sends no counts. Help ▸ Privacy opens Privacy, which lists every field.

Help ▸ Copy activity log puts the whole log on the clipboard, for a bug report. The activity log has the same button.

Help ▸ About drawbar (on macOS, drawbar ▸ About drawbar) opens the About box, which links to the source, this guide, the releases and the issue tracker.

This build lists what you are running: the version and target, the browser and whether it offers WebUSB when drawbar runs in one, the connected instrument, and how many files this computer holds. Copy diagnostics puts those lines and the activity log’s last 200 entries on the clipboard. Paste them into a bug report so it says what you were running.

Licenses is every license a copy of drawbar has to carry: drawbar’s own, the bundled fonts and icons, the Stage field maps it decodes with, and the Rust crates compiled in. Click a row to read it and to reach the project it covers. The trademark disclaimer is at the foot of the box.
